How to Check an ELF BAR Is Genuine

Check the security code

• Find the authentication label on the box. It carries a QR code and a security code.
• If the code is under a coating, scratch it off.
• Scan the QR code with your phone camera. ELF BAR recommends scanning rather than typing the code, for an accurate result.
• Check the address of the page that opens. It must be on elfbar.com. Fake verification sites copy the real one under lookalike names, such as elfdar.com or elfbar-tech.com, and confirm any code.
• If the page asks for it, enter the security code. A device is genuine only if elfbar.com confirms the code.

ELF BAR is moving between an old and a new style of security code, so either can appear on a genuine box. Check the code before you open the device.

Look at the box

ELF BAR advises checking the batch number printing, the manufacturer details and the overall packaging design. Retailers also point to these signs:

• Spelling mistakes, blurry logos or colours that look off.
• An authentication label that is crooked, peeling or stuck over another label.
• A box that is not sealed in plastic film. Do not accept an opened box.
• A missing printed nicotine warning.

Buy from a real shop

If a code fails

Do not use the device. You can report a suspected fake to ELF BAR through the Report Counterfeit link on its verification page.
