ELF BAR FS18000 Blueberry Ice

Blueberry Ice: a juicy berry with a cold finish

ELF BAR FS18000 Blueberry Ice keeps its idea simple: blueberry first, cold last. The inhale opens on juicy blueberry, ripe and round rather than sharp. Through the middle of the draw the berry turns sweet-tart, and that light sourness stops the fruit from tasting flat.

The exhale finishes cool and icy, which is what the "Ice" in the name points to. In plain terms it is medium sweet and cool rather than freezing: enough sugar to read as fruit, not enough to feel like syrup, with a chill that follows the berry instead of covering it.

On this device the closest alternative is Blueberry Raspberry, and the difference sits in the name. That flavor adds a second berry to the blend, while Blueberry Ice stays with a single fruit and pairs it with an icy edge. Choose this one when you want blueberry on its own, clearly defined, with a cold note at the end of each puff.

Smooth or Turbo: running Blueberry Ice on the FS18000

Power and airflow are both set with a slider on the base, marked CLOSE at one end and TURBO at the other. Smooth Mode runs at 10W and suits this flavor when you want the sweet-tart berry to come through gently, puff after puff, with the most life from the device: up to 18,000 puffs.

Move the slider to TURBO and Turbo Mode doubles the power to 20W for a stronger hit, with more flavor and vapor from both the blueberry and the icy exhale. The trade-off is range. Turbo is rated for up to 10,000 puffs, so higher power means fewer puffs overall.

The ELF BAR FS18000 in daily use

The ELF BAR FS18000 is a pre-filled disposable with a built-in 800 mAh rechargeable battery. Its QUAQ Dual Mesh coil uses two mesh heating pieces instead of one. ELFBAR says this DUAL MESH layout reduces coil loss and doubles coil lifespan, which matters on a device rated for this many puffs. Air moves through the Straight-through Airflow System in a direct line from base to mouthpiece.

There is no fire button: the device is draw-activated, so it fires when you inhale. On the front, the Dynamic Screen is a flat color display showing battery and e-liquid levels, so you can see when to charge and when the device is close to empty.

Charging runs through a USB Type-C port beside the slider, and ELFBAR quotes a 40-minute full charge. No cable comes in the box. Every unit carries 50 mg/mL (5%) nicotine and measures 47 x 24 x 101 mm.

First puffs: setting up the FS18000

1. Unbox it; only the device is inside, so keep a Type-C cable handy.
2. Set the base slider to Smooth Mode for the full puff count, or to TURBO for a stronger hit.
3. Inhale from the mouthpiece; there is no button to press.
4. Check the screen for battery and e-liquid levels.
5. Recharge through the Type-C port when the battery runs low.
6. Once the e-liquid is used up, stop. It is not sold as refillable, and the crossed-out bin symbol means no household waste.
