Cherry Strazz: tart cherry that turns to strawberry
ELF BAR EW9000 Cherry Strazz is a two-fruit blend that changes as you draw. The inhale is cherry, tart and juicy, with enough bite to wake the palate. By the middle of the puff, ripe strawberry moves in and softens that sharpness, and the two fruits run together rather than taking turns.
The exhale lands on a sweet strawberry-cherry finish. Sweetness is medium overall: the tart start keeps it from tasting sugary, while the strawberry makes sure it never feels sour by the end. There is no ice anywhere in the profile, so nothing cold sits over the fruit and the finish stays warm and rounded.
The closest flavor in the range is California Cherry, which by its name stays with cherry alone. Cherry Strazz is the one to pick if you want that cherry opening carried into a softer, sweeter strawberry close, with two fruits on the palate instead of one.
How Cherry Strazz behaves on the EW9000
The EW9000 has no power modes, airflow dial or cooling setting, and that suits a flavor built without ice. Every puff gets the same fixed draw, so the shift from tart cherry to sweet strawberry comes from the e-liquid itself, not from a setting you have to find.
A mesh coil heats the liquid evenly, which helps the two fruits arrive in the same order puff after puff. For the full rated range, keep the pod on its charging device; the pod can fire alone, but its small battery is meant for short spells.
The ELF BAR EW9000 in use
The ELF BAR EW9000 is a two-part kit, unveiled in Dubai in May 2024. A prefilled pod snaps magnetically onto a reusable 820 mAh charging device, and together they are rated for up to 9,000 puffs. Detached, the pod runs on its own 200 mAh battery for far fewer, around 200, and that battery cannot be charged.
Air-sensor draw activation means there are no buttons: you inhale and it fires, and the upgraded sensor is designed to avoid accidental firing or a late shut-off. The 3-color battery indicator on the charging device glows green at 70-100%, blue at 30-69% and red below 30%. Recharging is through USB Type-C.
The pod cannot be refilled. When it is empty you swap only the pod, keeping the device, which comes in 7 colors and 6 patterns. In the UAE the pods carry nicotine salt at 20 mg/mL (2%) or 50 mg/mL (5%); both contain nicotine.
Getting started with your Cherry Strazz pod
- Open the box, then seat the pod on the charging device so the two line up evenly.
- Breathe in through the mouthpiece; the sensor does the rest.
- Glance at the light now and then: green is full, blue is mid, red is low.
- On red, plug a USB Type-C cable into the charging device.
- When the taste thins or vapor drops, pull the pod off and snap on a new one.
