Heat comes from a mesh coil, a fine metal mesh rather than a single wire, so the liquid is warmed across a wider surface. The QUAQ name sometimes appears beside it, but QUAQ refers to ELFBAR's power module, where battery and circuit board are built as one, not to the coil.

A built-in 550 mAh battery with overcharge protection charges through USB Type-C on most units, so running flat is only a pause. Refilling is not possible. At 78 x 42 x 22 mm the body slips into a pocket, its translucent striped shell shows the parts inside, and each unit ships in a vacuum-sealed pack with a security sticker.
